Credits can be accumulated through a number of means. Most of the ships that the player encounters are similarly named after snakes, or other reptiles. The player, initially Commander Jameson, starts at Lave Station with 100 Credits and a lightly armed trading ship, a Cobra Mark III. Due to the limited capabilities of 8-bit computers, these worlds are procedurally generated. The game provides eight galaxies, each containing 256 planets to explore. This genre melds space-borne combat with a "buy low, sell high" freight transport system the profits are usually used to purchase ship upgrades. That's pretty cool, ain't it? The consequences of that way of playing is that the game cannot be lost or won - you set the goal for yourself and determine by yourself if it's accomplished or not. There is no plot line, or predetermined missions, since the game if fully non-linear.

In this game, you have the option to do everything and anything that you like, as long as it's in the legal merits of your surrounding.
